Before and After

Signs That Might Mean You Have a Foundation Problem

Many signs may indicate a possible foundation problem. Those signs include, but are not limited to, brick-and-mortar cracks, sheetrock cracks, doors out of square, excessive floor slope, etc. Usually, there is more than one of these signs present when there is a foundation problem.

Items That Are Mistaken for Signs of Foundation Issues

Additionally, there are some items that are incorrectly assumed to be a sign of foundation problems. Corner spalling is an example of that. Also, a crack in a single brick or nail pops by themselves. Those are just cosmetic issues and don’t indicate a need for foundation repairs.
